The funeral of the late socialite and TV presenter Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has taken place at a private service in Hampshire, with the star’s sister sharing the touching eulogy she read online.

Palmer-Tomkinson was laid to rest in front of a congregation of close family and friends on Monday (February 27th). However, Santa Montefiore posted the eulogy that she had delivered at the service, which was addressed directly to her sister, on social media afterwards.

In the emotional speech posted to Facebook, she hoped that “angels wrap their wings” around Tara and that she “heals in heaven… because you found life hard and now it is done.”

It has been revealed that socialite Tara Palmer Tomkinson died from a perforated ulcer and did not have a brain tumour as had previously been suspected. The IT girl’s sister, Santa Montefiore, took to Twitter today (Wed 15 Feb) to report the contents of the coroners’ report into Tara’s death and thank the public for their support.

The socialite, former TV presenter and 'it girl' was discovered dead at her West London home on Wednesday.

Former TV presenter and socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has died at the age of 45, her body having been discovered at her home in West London.

The star, who found fame in the nineties and who was known for her party lifestyle, revealed to the world that she was battling a brain tumour. However, it is not yet known whether this was related to her cause of death, police sources told The Sun on Wednesday (February 8th).

“Police were called by London Ambulance Service at approximately 13:40hrs on Wednesday, 8 February to an address in Bramham Gardens, SW5. A woman, aged in her forties, was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been informed.
