The Music release a completely re-recorded version of Take The Long Road And Walk It through Hut Recordings on August 19th. Initially released as a single on Fierce Panda in May 2001, the re-recorded version will be available on two enhanced CDs (HUTCD158 & HUTDX158), 7 (HUT158) and a 12 (HUTT158), which will be released a week later on August 26th. Produced by Jim Abbiss, who has worked with the likes of Bjork and DJ Shadow, the single is taken from their debut album, which will be released on September 2nd. After first releasing Take The Long Road And Walk It the band signed to Hut Recordings in the summer of last year. The Music then released the You Might As Well Try To Fuck Me EP in November. Their second single for the label, The People EP, released in April of this year, was accompanied by a sold out UK headline tour. This summer sees the band perform at T In The Park (July 13th), Leeds Festival (August 23rd) and Reading Festival (August 25th). The full tracklistings are: HUTCD158 CD1 1.
