Tisha Campbell's "heart aches" following the death of Erica Ash.

The 'Legacies' star passed away at the age of 46 on Sunday (28.07.24) after battling cancer and her friend and fellow actress has paid a heartfelt tribute to her "sister" for having brought "light" into the lives of so many others.

Tisha shared a photo of herself and Erica on Instagram and wrote: "I had to delete my earlier post because my heartaches so much. God I will miss you.

"With all the ugliness that this world and sometimes our industry brings there are few among us that are the LIGHT and you are that for so many.

"You are talented, you are funny, you are brilliant and you are flying with much earned wings. My God Erica this is a rough one man!!!! I love you my little sister RIP."

'Never Have I Ever' star Niecy Nash Betts will also "miss" the actress.

She shared a photo on her own Instagram account and posted: ""Rest Well Pretty girl. Your last text to me was 'I'm gonna make you my #wcw'. Then we had a good keke.

"You will be missed! Thank you for all the laughs! Sending my deepest condolences to your family loved ones.(sic)"

'Survivor's Remorse' creator Mike O'Malley will never forget "fearless" Erica - who appeared on all four seasons of the show - and her "booming laugh".

He told Deadline: “Erica Ash had a booming laugh that filled the set of 'Survivor’s Remorse' every day.

"It was a loud and generous laugh. The kind of loud and genuine laugh that made you turn your head to see what you were missing. The kind of laugh that signified life being lived to the fullest. Erica did.

"As M-Chuck, she was nominated for an NAACP Image award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2017. She deserved that accolade and many more.

"She loved being on a show, working as an actor, and crafting a character that she could call her own. She was fearless, hilarious, compelling.

"But most of all — she was a good person. A team player. A woman you loved being around. To work with her was to know what the good life could look like.”
