Actor Ty Burrell found himself part of an impromptu wedding at a bar he co-owns in Utah on Friday (27Dec13) after a gay couple celebrating the state's new same sex marriage laws asked him to be a witness at their nuptials.
The Modern Family star was hanging out at Bar X in Salt Lake City with a group of gay marriage supporters, who were celebrating the recent court decision allowing gays and lesbians to wed each other.
Among the group was a lesbian couple, who decided to use the magical moment to tie the knot in the bar and asked the actor if he would sign their marriage license.
Burrell obliged and posed for pictures with the newly-wed couple after the ceremony, according to Tmz.com.
