Actress Vanessa Hudgens has agreed to pay a $1,000 fine after defacing national park property over Valentine’s Day Weekend. Hudgens carved the message “Austin + Vanessa”, for her boyfriend Austin Butler, into a red rock at Coconino National Forest park in Arizona on Valentines Day and got in trouble with authorities after sharing a picture of the carving on Instagram.

According to the Associated Press Hudgens agreed to pay a $1,0000 fine in order to resolve a citation she was issued on a misdemeanour count of damaging a natural feature on US Forest Service land.

High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens has revealed that her father Greg is battling stage 4 cancer. The actress shared the sad news on Wednesday (August 19th) during an emotional speech at the Industry Dance Awards which were held in aid of cancer charity The Circle of Hope.
Vanessa Hudgens has revealed her father has cancer.
"Last year, my boyfriend, Austin, lost his mom, Lori, to cancer, and my dad has just been recently diagnosed with stage four cancer," Hudgens told the audience. "Let me tell you, I hate cancer. I hate cancer with every cell of my being.”
