According to a resident in Amanda Bynes’ apartment complex in NYC, living with the star is a nightmare of horror movie proportions. An anonymous neighbor of the retired actress talked to the New York Post about her erratic behavior and questionable habits. “She stares you out in the elevator. Residents are terrified to be alone with her. She knocked on one woman’s door, and when it opened, she screamed ‘You’re ugly,’ and ran away. Amanda always seems to be alone, muttering to herself and looking completely out of it.”

If what the unnamed resident is true, then Bynes’ behavior has gone beyond quirky, bordering on psychotic. Most news outlets have been buzzing with sightings of the star, behaving not exactly like herself. It began with sightings of Bynes around town in a number of strange wigs, drastic changes to her appearance like the infamous cheek piercings and then reports started coming in of Bynes shoplifting, posting nude photos on twitter and generally abusing social media. It isn't a pretty picture.

However, according to The Daily Mail, the actress’s LA based family has made a move to file for a conservatorship. According to The Mail’s source, Rick Bynes is currently in New York, but isn’t able to do anything about his daughter’s condition, because she refuses to see him. Hopefully, Bynes Sr. will be able to help Amanda get the help she apparently needs.
