The veteran singer was due to play a series of gigs in Britain in September (15), but he has rescheduled the dates until next year (16) and announced he will not tour Europe again.

Wilson, 73, announced the changes in a statement but did not disclose the reason for the postponement. The rescheduled gigs will mark the 50th anniversary of the group's 1966 album Pet Sounds.

He writes, "I'm sorry I won't be able to make these shows this year, but I look forward to seeing all my fans in 2016 to help me celebrate 50 years of Pet Sounds. This will be my final European tour... I'll see you all soon. Best, Brian".
