Model/actress Brooke Shields has revealed felt "sexy" posing in underwear for Kim Kardashian's SKIMS shoot - admitting she feels "proud" to have been able strip off at the age of 58
Brooke Shields felt "proud" to pose in underwear for a fashion shoot at the age of 58.
The model/actress has revealed felt "sexy" stripping off to pose in a bra and pants for Kim Kardashian's SKIMS shoot in 2022 and Brooke is happy she was able to represent her age group in a lingerie shoot.
During an appearance on 'Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen', she explained: "I was so happy that at this age that anybody wanted to see me in anything that looked like underwear.
"So I was very proud that she wanted to represent women my age in lingerie and I knew they were going to treat me well and take care of me. It was a great experience and I felt sexy."
It comes after Brooke revealed she wanted to "change the whole conversation around age" and created an online platform called Beginning is Now to empower women of all ages.
Speaking about the project, Brooke told PEOPLE: "It's about this demographic of women really coming into their power and owning it and really taking this period of their lives to pivot in the ways they want to - and that's in everything with beauty, wellness - all of it."
Brooke expanded into beauty and wellness after launching the brand in 2021. She said: "I'm just more and more aware of what a privilege it is to be able to exercise self-care and have it be a form of wellness rather than vanity."
Brooke is also working on a new book which will explore the "power of ageing". She told PEOPLE: "What we know for sure about women and ageing is that it’s not the put-her-out-to-pasture narrative our society would have us believe.
"I don’t need to hear any more about all the ways my body starts to sag when my ovaries stop working."
