If there was ever any doubt over whether Bryan Cranston was rightfully awarded the Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Drama award at the 20th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday, those doubts will have surely been quashed by his amazing, and some might say tuneful, acceptance speech.

The gleeful actor bounded up on to the stage after his win had been announced and gripping the trophy tightly in his hands, he began to show Breaking Bad fans a side of Heisenberg that that they would have never expected. "IIII won a SAG awaaard," sang Cranston operatically to laughter from the audience.

Emma Thompson is no stranger to being the subject of an eccentric and fawning speech from a fellow Hollywood A-lister (See: Meryl Streep) but Bryan Cranston, AKA Breaking Bad's Walter White, decided to take it upon himself to ensure that the 2014 awards season would be one that the Saving Mr Banks actress would never forget. Cranston regaled the audience with a tale of when he saw Thompson at a recent banquet. "She was looking my way and [then] she came up to me and I lost it, I didn't know what to say," the star-struck actor revealed.

"THAT'S what happens when you're so lucky - I've had so many crappy jobs in my life [...] I loaded trucks downtown," said Bryan, remembering the tough laboring jobs he did before he was a successful actor. "The only thing that got me through was imagining, dreaming that one day I could actually make a living as an actor and that's what got me through - thank God!" the former Malcolm in the Middle star yelled.

"We are the luckiest people in the world who can say 'I am an actor.' Thank god to all my castmates here and of course Vince Gilligan: I owe you everything. I love you honey!" the triumphant star exclaimed whilst Emma Thompson was shown laughing and cheering on her most exuberant fan.

Let's Hope The Planned 'Breaking Bad' Spin-Off Shows Are As Brilliant.

The actor, whose AMC role has seen him rocketed to uncharted fame, saw off competition from fellow TV heavyweights, including Boardwalk Empire's Steve Buscemi, The Newsroom's Jeff Daniels, Game of Thrones' Peter Dinklage and House of Cards' Kevin Spacey. As well as picking up the lead actor gong, Cranston joined his castmates in collecting the prize for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.
