Camila Cabello was moved to tears when Beyonce told her that she was a fan of the album 'C, XOXO'.
Camila Cabello was reduced to tears after Beyonce told her she loved her album.
The 'Havana' hitmaker encountered the superstar shortly after releasing the record 'C, XOXO' in June and revealed that she was unable to keep her emotions in check after being praised by the 'Single Ladies' singer.
Camila told the 'And The Writer Is...' podcast: "I met somebody who told me something about my album recently: Beyonce.
"She fully was like, 'I love your new album' and I was like, 'You inspire me so much.' I just walked away and I cried."
The former Fifth Harmony singer revealed that the praise from Beyonce was important validation for her as she has sometimes been left questioning why she is still in the industry after being targeted by hateful social media trolls.
Camila, 27, said: "I've been feeling so vulnerable and fragile. I think I've just been spending more time on social media than I usually do, and then I'll read comments and see something that leaves me f*****.
"It's just been really, really hard."
Camila previously revealed that she is keen to write "beautiful" songs about marriage and parenthood in the future.
The 'Senorita' artist told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "I’m 27 now but at some point, I’m going to be married with kids and I’ll probably write a beautiful folk song about that.
"But right now, I’m in the phase of experiencing and questioning everything I can.
"I want to make mistakes and learn because now is the time to do it, before the next phase comes along.
"At this age, you’re looking for answers about life, love, career, the next step.
"Live your questions – that’s a big theme of my album."
