Model/actress Carmen Electra Has Filed A Lawsuit Against Bosses Of A New York Strip Club For Using Her Image To Promote The Venue Online.
The former Playboy star is accusing the owners of La Oficina Bar in Queens of posting a photograph on the business' Instagram.com page showing her posing in a bikini against a stripper's pole.
In legal documents filed at Brooklyn Federal Court, Carmen alleges the image was "intentionally altered to make it appear that Electra was either a stripper working at La Oficina, or endorsed the club," according to the New York Daily News.
Three other models - Claudia Sanpedro, Tiffany Toth, and Brenda Lee Geiger - are also suing La Oficina bosses. They are demanding a minimum $75,000 (£52,000) in damages for trademark infringement and defamation.
