Carmen Electra is an American glamour model and actress.
Childhood: Carmen Electra was born in Sharonville, Ohio. Her parents are Patricia, a singer, and Harry, an entertainer. She went to Dance Artists dance studio in Western Hills, Cincinnati before attending Princeton High School in Sharonville. She later attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts.
Career: Carmen Electra began her career as a dancer in 1990 at Ohio's Kings Island amusement park. In 1991, she met Prince who offered her a record deal for a debut album which was self-titled after becoming known by stage name 'Carmen Electra'. In 1996, she appeared nude in 'Playboy' which led to her appearing on 'Baywatch' between 1997 and 1998 as well as MTV show 'Singled Out'. Following her first Playboy appearance, she appeared in it again in 1997, 2000, 2003 and 2009. As well as TV shows, Carmen has also appeared in several comedy movies including 'An American Vampire Story' and 'Good Burger' in 1997, 'Scary Movie' in 2000 opposite Dave Sheridan (and its 2006 sequel 'Scary Movie 4' in which she played a different character), 'Starsky & Hutch' in 2004 with Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson , 2006's 'Date Movie', 2007's 'Epic Movie' and 'Meet the Spartans' and 'Disaster Movie' in 2008. In 2005, she replaced Gina Gershon as the voice of the robot Six in the animated show 'Tripping the Rift'. Carmen Electra: Other career ventures Carmen Electra has produced several exercise videos including 'Carmen Electra Aerobic Striptease' as well as equipment such as the Electra Pole. She has appeared in several advertising campaigns including Maxim Men's Hair Color in 2004, Ritz Camera Centers in 2006 and MAX Factor Make-Up. She was a guest judge on season 8 of 'So You Think You Can Dance' in 2011 with Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and Travis Wall. In 2012 she was also a guest judge for 'Britain's Got Talent'. She has done much charity work including fundraising for Head to Hollywood with supports brain tumour survivors and Elevate Hope which supports abused children.
Personal life: Carmen Electra married basketballer Dennis Rodman in 1998 but divorced in 1999. In 2003, she married Dave Navarro from Jane's Addiction on a reality show called ''Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave'. They were divorced in 2007. In 2008, she was engaged to Rob Patterson of the band Filter but she is now single.
