Celia Imrie wants to spend the night with Jack Nicholson.

The 62-year-old actress admires the legendary lothario's ''naughty quality'' and self-deprecation and would like to be more like him.

Asked who she would choose to spend one night with, she said: ''Jack Nicholson.If Jack Nicholson read this and got in touch... oh yeah.

''I mean, if you watch him on screen, he's kind of a lunatic but I love that.

''I aspire to be like him. Also, he doesn't take himself too seriously and I'm so bored by all these people who take themselves too seriously.''

The 'Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' star - who has son Angus from a relationship with actor Benjamin Whitrow - doesn't regret never marrying because she thinks the institution is ''difficult''.

She told Britain's Glamour magazine: ''I don't [regret not getting married]. Not that I don't admire people who do it, but I genuinely think it's a difficult promise to make.

''But I'm very lucky to have my son and I would have regretted not having him.''

Celia's 'Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' co-star Dame Judi Dench recently revealed she also has a crush on 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' actor Jack and turned into a ''silly teenager'' when they met.

She said: ''I had to go to the Oscars a while ago and Jack Nicholson walked past me. I couldn't believe it.

''You know how, in your mind, these famous actors are always huge - they're vast - well he wasn't actually that tall.

''But I was still completely bowled over. I got a bit silly, like a teenager. I had just presented an award and he walked past and said, 'Good job Jude'. I pretended to be all suave and worldly but actually I was like a jelly inside.''
