Chelsea Handler says she will try to reunite Kanye West and Taylor Swift when she hosts the MTV Video Music Awards on September 12th 2010. Handler's comments refer to the now infamous scene at last year's awards ceremony when West interrupted Swift's acceptance speech, taking the microphone, and proclaiming that "Beyonce has one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!".
On August 19th 2010, whilst speaking to the Ryan Seacrest radio show, Handler said, "I'd like to get them [Swift and West] together is what I'd like to get, because you've never really seen them together since then. They were supposed to be on SNL, but then that didn't end up happening. I don't know. We'll try and think of something clever to do with them, because that would be really fun. Everyone loves TAYLOR SWIFT, and Kanye's ... Kanye."
The 35-year-old hosts her own late-night show on E! called Chelsea Lately, and is the author of two bestselling books. She will take over from Russell Brand - who's hosted the last two VMA's - at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles in September.
