Veteran British comedian Freddie Starr has been bailed until next year (14) as police continue to investigate allegations of sexual offences.
The funnyman was due to find out whether he will be charged over the claims, which are linked to the investigation into the Jimmy Savile sex abuse scandal, on Thursday (05Dec13).
However, a spokesperson for Britain's Scotland Yard has now confirmed Starr's bail has been extended until February (14) pending further inquires.
The Tv star was first arrested in November last year (12) over claims he had groped a 14-year-old girl, and he was re-arrested in April (13). Starr vehemently denies the claims and is now suing his accuser.
British entertainer Savile, who died in 2011, was unmasked as a serial paedophile last year (12) and the revelation prompted a massive police investigation.
