The actor and his wife Emily welcomed daughter Maiya Grace Baldoni on Saturday (27Jun15) at their home in Los Angeles.

The couple gushes over its new addition in a statement to Us Weekly, which reads: "The birth of our little Maiya was the most beautiful and spiritual experience we have ever had. Having her at home in our bed and being able to sing and pray as she entered this world while holding her in the quiet of our home is something we will cherish forever.

"Our hearts are exploding with love."

Earlier this year (15), Baldoni and his wife, who wed in 2013, announced her pregnancy in a montage video, which featured the reactions of their family and friends, including actress Ashley Tisdale and Baldoni's Jane the Virgin co-star Gina Rodriguez, as they found out about the baby news for the first time.
