Take That performed a ''thank you'' concert for their fans at the Apple Music Festival on Sunday night (20.09.15).

The band played at The Roundhouse venue in London for the first time and treated the audience to a set packed with their greatest hits from over the past three decades.

Four songs into the 15-track set an emotional Howard Donald said: ''This gig is like a thank you for all the supporters of Take That. Thanks everyone for all your support over the years. It is so nice to have you so close.''

The trio - also comprised of Gary Barlow and Mark Owen - opened their show with 'Shine', before launching into 'Greatest Day' and recent hit 'Get Ready For It'.

Ahead of their rendition of 'Patience', Gary admitted he and his bandmates were loving every minute of the gig as it was a departure from their usual arena-size shows.

He said: ''This is the song that brought us back after all those years. This is a beautiful, intimate venue - we don't get to play these places enough.''

The set was packed with fan favourite hits from the 90s including 'Pray', 'A Million Love Songs', 'Back For Good' and a rare rendition of 'Babe'.

Although the stage set was a scaled down version of their recent sell-out arena tour, the boys still showed off their synchronized dance moves as giant glitter balls spun around and disco lights flashed.

Take That closed their concert with anthem 'Relight My Fire', 'Rule The World' and 'Never Forget' which had fans singing back every word with arms aloft amid a sea of camera phones trying to capture the special moment.

Take That's show - which was beamed to millions of viewers around the world via Apple TV - was the second gig of the Apple Music Festival following Ellie Goulding's opener on Saturday night (19.09.15).

The Apple Music Festival continues this week with performances from Carrie Underwood this evening (21.09.15) and One Direction, Disclosure and Pharrell among others.
