I AM KLOOT
NEW SINGLE - 'OVER MY SHOULDER' RELEASED ON ECHO 21.03. 2005
NEW ALBUM – ‘GODS AND MONSTERS’ RELEASED ON ECHO 11.04.2005
Manchester three - piece I AM KLOOT are set to release a brand new single on the 21st of March.
'Over My Shoulder' is the first new material since their eponymously titled album from 2003 and a taste of what to expect from their new long player ‘Gods And Monsters’ released on the 11 th of April 2005.
Gods And Monsters sees the Manchester trio return with a fuller more dynamic sound and it's thirteen songs are without doubt their strongest and most ambitious to date. From the darkly urgent, opener ‘No Direction Home’, to the albums strangely uplifting closer 'I Believe' the band comfortably carry off a newly confident swagger. Listen to the drunken, fairground waltz suggested by the title track, ‘Ordinary Girls' noir-ish tale of murder, witchcraft and revenge, the Shadows-styled twang of ‘Stars Look Familiar’ the Piaf tradition that informs ‘Avenue Of Hope’ and the forthcoming single 'Over My Shoulder'
