Styles wasn't about to get shown up for his gullibility again.
Styles wasn't about to get shown up for his gullibility again. Harry Styles has become yet another victim-of-choice for a phone prankster after having made headlines with his embarrassingly gullible display at the hands of The 1975's Matt Healy and Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw. This time, Styles was chosen as the target for James Corden's hilarious Send-To-All prank on The Michael McIntyre Chat Show on Monday (14th April).
Harry Styles Was Poised For A Witty Retort When James Corden Prank Texted Him.
The send-to-all game involved James sending a cheeky text to everyone on his contacts list to see who responded. The 32 year-old entertainer wrote "Me and you, lapdancing. Are you in or out? Come on, let's do this." Having learned his lesson from last month's blunder, the One Direction singer wasn't taking any chances and instead replied "Great, but what is it with you and lapdancing? What happened the last time we did that wasn't pretty."
Corden's Prank Was Quickly Turned On Himself As It Emerged That Harry Was In On The Game.
Further turning the joke on Corden, Styles brought the comedian's 3 year-old son, Max, into the prank before he let on that he was in on the game. "Maybe we shouldn't bring Max this time (are you playing send-to-all with Michael McIntyre?)."
Last month on Grimshaw's breakfast show, Harry agreed to hand over £5,000 to Matt Healy from boy band The 1975, despite having only met on a few occasions. Taking part in the show's "Call or Delete" game, Healy phones up his fellow singer, explaining "Sorry I've never rung you before now, I was just wondering, this is going to sound ridiculous, I need £5,000 and I'm in Chalk Farm, I know it sounds ridiculous but it is a serious situation, I'm in a phone booth and a bloke is pointing to a picture of Mark Owen, it's actually quite threatening."
Styles Was Mocked For Agreeing To Give The 1975's Matt Healy £5,000 In Another Prank.
A seemingly calm Harry responded "OK, well we're in Bristol. But let me go and I'll get my assistant to call you and she'll sort it out." Of course, the One Direction star was quickly mocked for his willingness to trust someone he barely knew, but it also shows that the 21 year-old is a lot more generous that he has previously been given credit for.
