Apparently Priestley's memoir doesn't really speak highly of too many people.
Tori Spelling’s headlong dive into unlimited publicity with her lifetime series True Tori has attracted tons of controversy in recent weeks. Now Tori and her husband Dean McDermott are facing even more heat, after Spelling’s former 90210 co-star Jason Priestly is spilling the beans on the actress.
Priestly is soon to release his memoir, which reportedly slams Spelling, McDermott and infamous bad girl Shannen Doherty.
Jason Priestley is releasing the ultimate tell-all book in two days.
“I could not believe my ears at Shannen’s very first words after she boarded,” Priestley writes in an excerpt obtained by Us Weekly. “Her butt had barely hit her seat before she said loudly to the PR person, ‘Really? A town car? You send a town car to take me to the airport, not a limo?’”
“I looked on, becoming more uneasy by the minute as she began b---hing about the short notice and the food on board and the temperature in the cabin and everything else,” he continues.
Harsh. But what could he have to say about everyone’s favorite bickering TV couple? Quite a lot, it turns out. Apparently, the actor’s ego – and his relationship with Spelling - were bruised pretty badly when he discovered that she was selling the invitation to his wedding at a yard sale. And what really hurt – it was priced at just $5.
“I happened to be at home watching the local news one night, something I rarely got to do. Tori Spelling’s yard sale made the broadcast,” Priestley writes.
Poor Shannen Doherty is among the not-so-honorable mentions.
“I saw my very own wedding invitation on the screen. Apparently, it had gone for five bucks, including a personal autograph by Tori. She sold my wedding invitation to a stranger.”
Double ouch. Then again, maybe all of this should be taken with the several grains of salt, usually reserved for celebrity memoirs. Priestly also reminisces of his (apparently very unpleasant) encounter with McDermott in 2005 and, among all the other name dropping, his time rooming with the then unknown Brad Pitt.
So is Brad Pitt apparently.

“Just for fun, we used to have competitions over who could go the longest without showering or shaving,” Priestley writes. “Brad always won.”
In case all that piqued your interest, the book comes out this week, on May 6, 2014.
