Jennifer Aniston wins the Montecito while Amy Poehler takes this year's Hasty Pudding. The Magic Mike XXL trailer promises lots of beefcake, The Cobbler offers laughs, Lost River appears darkly emotive, and animated SpongeBob and Minions adventures look like a lot of fun...
She may not be up for an Oscar this year, but Jennifer Aniston was awarded the Montecito Award at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, which is currently running in California. She looked sleek and starry as she accepted the award.

Meanwhile at Harvard University in Massachusetts, Amy Poehler received this year's prestigious Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year Award. Presented to women who have made a lasting impact on entertainment, the honour has recently been won by Julianne Moore, Marion Cotillard and Helen Mirren.

This week's big new trailer is for Magic Mike XXL, the clearly more comedic sequel to the 2012 hit based on Channing Tatum's early life as a stripper. Tatum is back as Mike, and the trailer has fun with a Flashdance opening sequence, lots of innuendo and shirtless hunks Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Adam Rodriguez. It opens in July. Watch 'Magic Mike XXL' Teaser Trailer.
There's also a new trailer for The Cobbler, the new film from writer-director Thomas McCarthy, which stars Adam Sandler as a shoe repairman who acquires the ability to turn into anyone if he wears their shoes. It looks a bit silly, but McCarthy has a reputation for making smart comedies (see The Visitor and Win Win). It opens in March in the USA and May in the UK. Watch 'The Cobbler' Trailer.
Even though it was critically mauled at last year's Cannes Film Festival, fans are looking forward to Ryan Gosling's directing debut Lost River. The first trailer came out this week for the thriller starring Christina Hendricks, Eva Mendes, Matt Smith and Saoirse Ronan. It looks dark and intriguing, and opens in April. Watch 'Lost River' Trailer.
SpongeBob SquarePants is returning to the big screen in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, which released an extended trailer this week. This time, the undersea pals travel above the surface to the live-action world, where they square off against super-villainous pirate chef Antonio Banderas. Yes, it looks hilarious. It's out this weekend in America and next month in Britain. Watch 'The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water' Extended Trailer.
And the animated spin-off The Minions doesn't open until July, bit it also has a new trailer this week. Set before they met their "despicable" boss Gru, the film is set in the 1960s, as three pill-shaped sidekicks hitchhike to Orlando to attend Villain-Con, meeting super baddie Scarlett Overkill (voiced by Sandra Bullock). It looks unmissable. Watch 'Minions' International Trailer.
