'Born This Way' hitmaker Lady GaGa exposed her underwear at the Songwriters Hall of Fame gala in New York on Thursday (18.06.15).
Lady GaGa flashed her bra and panties as she collected the Contemporary Icon Award at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala on Thursday (18.06.15).
The 29-year-old pop superstar showed up for the 46th Annual Induction and Awards gala in New York wearing a typically flamboyant outfit, which included a red velvet jacket that only partially covered her black leather bra and panties, as well as her torn pantyhose.
The 'Born This Way' hitmaker - who accessorised her barely-there outfit with a pair of striking sunglasses and platforms boots - was joined at the star-studded event by Richie Sambora, Michael Buble, Carly Rae Jepsen and Katy Perry, who performed her own rendition of Gaga's 'Bad Romance'.
Gaga, who got engaged to her long-time partner Taylor Kinney on Valentine's Day (14.02.15), received her award from her good friend and collaborator Tony Bennett.
In contrast to Gaga's unusual outfit at the awards show, it's been claimed the singer intends to wear a ''very simple and elegant'' wedding dress.
Gaga is reportedly going for a low-key look to prove she is taking her wedding day ''seriously''.
A source previously said: ''She's taking this step seriously and will marry Taylor as Stefani, not Gaga.
''Stefani is much more low-key than Gaga. She's commissioned her Haus of Gaga team to design the dress, but it's very simple and elegant.''
