Legal papers, obtained by TMZ, show Fox filed for divorce on Friday (21st August) citing irreconcilable differences. Their date of separation is listed as 15th June 2015.

According to reports, there’s no pre-nup and their assets are likely to be divided equally. Fox may be required to pay spousal maintenance for Green as she earns more than he does.

Sources suggest their divorce is “very amicable” and they reportedly continue to live in the same house.

The 29-year-old Fox and 42-year-old Green met in 2004 when Green made a guest appearance on Hope & Faith, the TV series in which Fox starred. They began dating and married in 2010 in Maui. They have two children together, Noah (born 2012) and Bodhi (born 2014).

Fox has reportedly requested legal and physical custody of Noah and Bodhi.

This summer has seen some of the entertainment industry’s seemingly most stable and long-term couples separating. Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale filed for divorce last month after 13 years of marriage. Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are also divorcing and, the most shocking of all, Miss Piggy and Kermit called it a day after four decades.
