Troubled Actor Nicholas Brendon Is Set To Open Up About His Battle With Depression And Substance Abuse On Tv With Celebrity Self-help Guru Dr. Phil Mcgraw.

The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star checked into rehab for the second time this year (15) in July (15) to get help after he was arrested three times within a three-month period on suspicion of trashing hotel rooms and public intoxication.
Brendon is now expected to open up about the troubled time, which began following his split from wife Moonda Tee in February (15), during an episode of Dr. Phil which is set to be filmed on 26 August (15).
A representative for the actor encouraged fans to sign up for free tickets to the taping in a post on Brendon's Facebook.com page, writing, "Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a fantastical day. Nick is doing well and sends his love to you all... If you happen to be in the L.A. area on Aug 26, why not go to a Dr. Phil taping and show some of your love and support to Nick?"
It is not known when the episode will be broadcast.
