Christmas has come early. Well, Christmas advertising has come early. Netflix has announced their upcoming mini-series 'A Very Murray Christmas', set to appear in December. The show will star Bill Murray - as the name suggests - and will serve as a homage to variety shows.

Murray stars as himself. He served as the writer alongside Mitch Glazer and Sofia Coppola who will direct. Murray and Coppola worked together on the well-received 2003 film 'Lost in Translation', while Glazer wrote the 1988 adaptation of 'A Christmas Carol' entitled 'Scrooged', starring Murray.

Video - A Bearded Jim Carrey Dons 'Spank You' Shirt For Last 'Letterman' Show - Part 1


Jim Carrey was rocking his beard - which is looking incerasingly bushier - as he arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York for the last episode of 'The Late Show with David Letterman'. He was also sporting a T-shirt with the slogan 'Spank You'; a catchphrase of his from the 'Ace Ventura' movies.

Video - Larry David, Paul Shaffer And Andre Balazs Mourners Arrive For Mary Richardson Kennedy Funeral Part


Co-creator of American sitcom 'Seinfield' Larry David, musician Paul Shaffer and Hungarian hotelier ANDRE BALAZS were among the mourners present at the funeral of Mary Richardson Kennedy; estranged wife of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.; in Bedford, New York.

Also at the service were 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' actress Susan Sarandon, 'Ghostbuster' actor Dan Aykroyd and former number one professional tennis player John McEnroe. Mary Richardson Kennedy was found dead in home on Wednesday 16th May 2012 after committing suicide following months of alcohol abuse

Canadian musician Paul Shaffer arrives for 'The Late Show With David Letterman' at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York. David Letterman's sidekick walks down the pavement to the building with his wife, Cathy. He talks to a photographer but what he is saying is indistinct. After standing for a few photos he heads inside.

Paul has appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman since 1982. He is also well known for writing the hit song It's Raining Men, which became a hit for the American duo The Weather Girls in 1982
