Ryan Adams won't be performing in the UK until September now.
Ryan Adams fans in the UK will be downcast to learn that the singer has been forced to cancel his forthcoming two Spring dates for his 'Prisoner' tour due to unexpected circumstances. His subsequent US and Canada concerts will still go ahead as planned, as will his later Europe shows.
Ryan Adams cancels UK dates
Never fear, his later UK dates in September are still set in stone, but for now the two April shows that were only recently announced will have to be rescheduled due to 'an unforeseen personnel change' outside of the 'Lucky Now' singer's control.
'Ryan regrets the inconvenience and looks forward to returning to the UK for performances already scheduled for later in the year', a representative said in a statement. The concerts in question that were cancelled were two shows at Parr Hall in Warrington and Assembly in Leamington Spa on April 20th and April 21st respectively.
However, he will still be making the trip to Green Man Festival on August 17th, where he will perform alongside the likes of PJ Harvey, Future Islands and The Shins. Plus, he has eight more UK dates coming in September (five of which are now sold out), which will see him performing at the Royal Albert Hall in London and various other cities including Manchester, Edinburgh, Leeds and Belfast. He also has three more dates in Ireland including a two-night residency at the Dublin Olympia.
