Scott Eastwood has revealed how no one, including his agents, wanted him to star opposite Taylor Swift in her ‘Wildest Dreams’ music video. The actor starred as Swift’s love interest in the cinematic video, released earlier this year, where they portrayed two actors falling in love during a shoot in Africa.

The actor told People that filming the video was a "fantastic experience”, despite his agents' objections. "None of my agents wanted me to do it, actually," he said. "They said, 'Oh, we don't want you to do that! Why would you be Taylor Swift's boy toy?' And I said, 'Why the hell not?’”

Eastwood also gushed about his co-star during his recent appearance on HuffPost Live, where he described her as “a fantastic role model”. “You look at great people like Taylor Swift, who is a fantastic role model to young women, and if I can sort of follow that path, that’s a nice thing to do,” he said.

“She’s great, she’s the best,” he continued. “Like I said before, she’s a great role model to young women. I think there should be more artists and people who have the platform to do that, be a really positive role model in people’s lives.”
