It's almost 25 years since Sheryl Crow released her first album 'Tuesday Night Music Club', since then she's become a household name and has released ten studio albums. The tenth release 'Be Myself' was released in April through Warner Bros. Records and had impressed critics and her fans alike.
The lead single from the record is titled Halfway There and it was written in collaboration with Gary Clark Jr., both Gary and Sheryl star in the Gus Black directed video. Speaking about the thoughts behind the track Sheryl explains: "The idea of the song is that even though you may drive a big Chevy truck and I drive my hybrid, or you may wear designer clothes and I wear ripped jeans, that doesn't mean we don't want the same things in life and the same things for our kids in the future. The message is we need to agree to disagree and just try and meet halfway there."
You can currently catch Sheryl on tour in the US supporting Country music legend Willie Nelson - Sheryl's also confirmed to play Farm Aid 2017.
