Steven Seagal played for pro-Russia separatists over the weekend.
The Hollywood star Steven Seagal played a weekend concert for pro-Russian separatists in the Crimean peninsula over the weekend. Adorned with a flag supporting the seperarists, Segal and his blues band played at a bikers' show held in the city of Sevastopol, home to Putin's Black Sea fleet.

The action star had come under in March after supporting Russia's annexation of the peninsula from Ukraine and he was bumped from the line-up of an Estonian blues festival this summer.
Seagal - the star of Above The Law and Under Siege - had travelled to Crimea because "music unites people". Earlier this year he was quoted as saying President Putin's desire to protect Russians in Crimea was completely reasonable. According to the Guardian, he said he considers Putin "a friend and I'd like to consider him a brother."

RIA Novosti reported that Seagal was handed a t-shirt with Putin's face on it, which he held aloft and thanked the crowd.
