Dame Vivienne Westwood is disappointed her granddaughter Cora Corré went skiing instead of walking in her Red Label show at London Fashion Week on Sunday (22.02.15)
Dame Vivienne Westwood is disappointed her granddaughter, Cora Corré, didn't walk in her Red Label show at London Fashion Week.
The 73-year-old fashion designer was left upset when the 17-year-old model shunned taking to the runway for the world famous brand on Sunday (22.02.14) and opted to go on a ski trip instead, reports the Daily Telegraph newspaper.
Vivienne said of Cora - who walked for the label last year: ''She hasn't kept in touch with me. I am very disappointed.
''I think she is wasting her opportunity. She should use me. I'll be dead and she will think, 'What was that woman talking about?'''
It isn't the first time the iconic designer has passed comment on the raven-haired beauty's decisions.
She previously said she would love to see more of Cora - who is currently preparing for her A Level exams - and hopes she will use her looks to ''stand for something''.
The British born star explained: ''She's a beautiful girl, but I wish she would use it to stand for something, although it's terrible for me to impose that on anybody. I would also like to see more of her. She's a teenager, she's busy.''
While Cora - who is the daughter of Vivienne's son, Agent Provocateur founder Joseph Corré and Serena Rees - was noticeably absent from the show, model Daisy Lowe was spotted strutting her stuff on the catwalk.
The 26-year-old stunner showed off her curves in a sheer, lace, figure-hugging gown, teamed with a porcelain complexion and crimson lipstick.
