Fact: Mad Men actress Melinda Page Hamilton has signed on to join Kevin Bacon in a stage adaptation of Rear Window. The Footloose star recently signed on to play L. B. Jeffries, the wheelchair-bound photographer who is convinced he has witnessed a murder in a neighbouring apartment, and now Hamilton has signed on to appear in the Darko Tresnjak production, which will open at the Hartford Stage in Connecticut on 22 October (15). The play is based on the Cornell Wollrich short story, which also served as the inspiration for Alfred Hitchcock's 1954 movie Rear Window, starring James Stewart and Grace Kelly.

Fact: Actor/singer Kevin Bacon teamed up with U.S. comedian JIMMY FALLON on Friday (31Jul15) to parody the Beach Boys' classic Fun, Fun, Fun hit for a segment on America's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The performance, billed as a "first draft" of what the track originally sounded like, featured the pair singing about a hamburger stand.
