Allison Janney has confirmed talks to appear in 'Finding Dory'.

The 54-year-old actress, who voiced the ochre starfish Peach in 2003's hit Disney-Pixar animation 'Finding Nemo', admits there has been some discussion about reprising the role in the upcoming sequel which will focus on Ellen Degeneres' character.

She said: ''I hope so ... God, I hope Peach comes back! I'm sure she'll have a cameo at the very least.

''I think there has been some discussion going on.

''It was amazing to be part of that, it was a brilliant film.''

'Finding Dory' was first announced in April 2013 when Ellen DeGeneres confirmed she would be back to voice loveable Pacific regal blue tang Dory.

She said at the time: ''I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time. I'm not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating 'Toy Story 16'. But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It's got a lot of heart, it's really funny, and the best part is, it's got a lot more Dory.''

'Finding Dory' is set for release in June 2016.
