Olivia Culpo had an eventful time at the 2015 Emmy Awards after almost passing out in the extreme heat and had to be carried through the Microsoft Center by wheelchair.
Olivia Culpo almost passed out from the heat on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards last night (20.09.15).
The 23-year-old model was overcome by the sweltering temperature at Los Angeles' Microsoft Center when she stopped to chat to reporters, and had to seek medical assistance.
She tweeted: ''OMG it is SO HOT out here. Literally just almost passed out #Emmys2015 #ERedCarpet (sic)''
She later posted a photo of herself in a wheelchair being escorted by paramedics who were on site to help with the scorching 106 degree weather.
Alongside the image she wrote: ''When u almost pass out on LIVE TV! @GiulianaRancic @helloross @mrbradgoreski its ok I know u would have caught me (sic)''
Meanwhile, 'Trainwreck' star Amy Schumer tried to keep her cool by bringing a a mini handheld fan to the prestigious event, as did Laverne Cox, Jaimie Alexander and Cat Deeley, while Sarah Hyland and Sofia Vergara also did their best to stop sweltering in the heat.
The 'Modern Family' actress compared the weather to being a ''lizard in the desert''.
She shared: ''It's fun being here, minus the weather! We are owning it. Like a lizard in the desert (sic).''
And 'Hot Pursuit's' Sofia simply wrote: ''I'm dying already (sic)!''
However, 'Mom' actress Alison Janney could see the benefits of the hot weather.
She quipped: ''It's terrible. It's just a cruel joke to get us all dressed up and walk down like this. But, on the plus side, I think I've lost a few pounds. It's the Bikram Emmys.''
