Earlier this year superstar singer Beyoncé filed legal papers to trademark the name of her five-year-old daughter with rapper Jay-Z - Blue Ivy Carter. The Crazy in Love singer wanted to reserve the rights to use the moniker in any future beauty, fashion and electronics ventures without anyone else being able to cash in on her daughter’s name.

Jay Z has confirmed a long-standing rumour that he has been unfaithful to his wife Beyonce in the past.

Speaking to the New York Times Style Magazine in an interview published on Wednesday (November 29th), the hugely successful rapper made a revelation that his and Beyonce’s fans had been speculating upon for years.

“The hardest thing is seeing pain on someone's face that you caused, and then have to deal with yourself,” he said.

Beyonce's daughter Blue Ivy encouraged her to jump on the remix of 'Mi Gente'.

J Balvin - who recorded the original with Willy Wiliam - has revealed it was actually the pop megastar's five-year-old daughter who pushed the collaborative remix, which was released to raise money for hurricane relief charities after the US was hit by catastrophic storms over the summer, because she heard the original and loved it.

Speaking to Billboard, Balvin said: ''Someone who worked with Beyonce came to the studio to check the vibe and she told me Blue was super in love with the song. So I said: 'Ok, why don't you tell Beyonce if she want to jump in the remix. It happened.''

The 35-year-old singer is believed to be planning to release new songs as she has been ''inspired'' by the birth of her one-month-old twins Sir Carter and Rumi, who she has with her husband Jay Z.

Speaking about the former Destiny's Child band member to NME Online, a source said: ''Beyoncé is already hard at work, having the twins has inspired her.''

Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed their twins to much fanfare last month, and it appears that the new parents are taking a no-holds-barred approach to raising the babies with a reports suggesting they’ve hired no fewer than SIX nannies to help take care of them.

They welcomed the twins, a boy named Sir and a girl named Rumi, in June this year having announced they were expecting with a lavish photoshoot back in January, and they’ve been living in Los Angeles since. According to a report on Wednesday (July 26th) by OK! magazine, Jay and Bey have hired half a dozen nannies, on $100,000 a year each, to help them take care of the newborns.

With another two nannies for their five year old daughter, Blue Ivy, that makes a total of eight hired hands in their employ.

Madame Tussauds has some of the greatest wax figures in the world, but, as it turns out, they don't always get it right. Fans have reacted with anger over their latest Beyonce statue, claiming that it actually looks nothing like the singer - not least because the 'skin' is white.

A new waxwork at Madame Tussauds of pop icon Beyonce has caused something of a backlash on social media this week – on the basis that many believe it looks nothing like her.

Unveiled at the Madame Tussauds branch in New York City this week, the likeness of Queen Bey is wearing a glittery playsuit and knee-high boots. However, it got many of her fans up in arms because they believed its skin was too light and had blonde hair, making the model appear too white.

“It's a good thing you're not talking about *Beyonce cause this white woman is definitely not her,” one irate Twitter user said, while others argued it actually looked more like Britney Spears, Shakira or Lindsay Lohan.

Jay-Z has admitted that his marriage to Beyonce “wasn’t totally built on the 100% truth” in a new documentary clip accompanying the release of his latest album, 4:44.

The 47 year old rap icon dropped his latest studio album as a Tidal exclusive at the end of June, with much of the hype surrounding it focussing on it as a response to his wife’s own critically lauded Lemonade album the previous year.

After tackling race issues in America on ‘Footnotes for ‘The Story of O.J.’’ mini-documentary a few days ago, Jay released another short documentary clip accompanying the album’s title track that included celebrities such as Will Smith, Aziz Ansari and Kendrick Lamar, discussing relationships and the pressure of life in the public eye.

Cat Stevens says it was challenging coming back into the music industry in the Beyonce and Amy Winehouse era.

The 68-year-old singer/songwriter - who now goes by the name Yusuf Islam after converting to Islam - made a return with his first album under his new moniker for his 12th studio LP 'An Other Cup' in November 2006.

At the time, R&B superstar Beyonce had brought out songs including 'Irreplaceable' and Winehouse - who died in July 2011 from alcohol intoxication aged just 27 - released her critically-acclaimed LP 'Back to Black', and Stevens says it felt like a ''different'' world to return to.
