Cheryl Cole Seeks Fan Support Over Sick Puppy

Just after she celebrated her 30th in Las Vegas, Cheryl Cole was hit with some altogether more unpleasant news – heartbreaking even, according to her instagram feed. The former Girl Aloud is devastated over the fact that her Jack Russel, Keira, is undergoing radiotherapy. The singer shared a picture of her oldest pet, accompanied by the caption “"This is my dog Kiera. I have had her since she was two months old and I was 16,” the tear-jerking message begins. “"Tomorrow she has radiotherapy and will be in doggy hospital for two to three weeks. "Will you help me send her happy vibes and pray for her with me please? She's my oldest baby and it's breaking my heart."

It’s no secret that Cheryl is a huge dog lover and she has even said in the past that she only fully trusts her dogs and her mother. Add to that the fact that Keira is the oldest of Cole’s four pooches and it’s easy to see why the star is more than a little upset. Luckily, she always has her loyal fans on hand with well wishes and “cheer up” messages.

The singer is apparently very close to her canine companion.

Following the distressed post, many commented things like “Just sending luv & hope...both of yrs,” “Hope she gets better soon!” and so on. Some even shared their own tales of puppy love and loss. At least the singer can be comforted in the knowledge that her fans are looking out and ready to flood her with sympathy at any moment.
