On Tuesday (18Aug15), it was confirmed the British Board of Film Classification will crack down on U.K.-produced promos in an attempt to stop youngsters aged under 18 watching racy clips.

Services like YouTube and VeVo will be able to block underage users or place age warnings on the videos, but Call My Name hitmaker Fernandez-Versini, also known as Cheryl Cole, is convinced the plan is flawed because the rules only apply to British-made clips.

She tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "I don't think it makes any sense. A lot of the raunchier videos come from over the pond, so it doesn't make sense to restrict the U.K. If they're going to do it they need to do it worldwide.

"I don't think it will affect my videos though to be honest as I just don't go overboard with my stuff, I've got younger fans and I'd never be brave enough."
