Over a year after the horrific car crash that severely injured him and killed his friend and fellow comedian James McNair, Tracy Morgan is due to make his big return to TV by hosting an episode of ‘Saturday Night Live’ in October.

The ’30 Rock’ star and former ‘SNL’ cast member will be hosting the show for the second time in his career on Saturday October 17th, the third show of the upcoming 41st season. The NBC show confirmed the news via its official Twitter feed on Monday (August 17th), also stating that Miley Cyrus and the in-demand comedienne Amy Schumer would also be hosting the first two episodes.

Taylor Swift vs Katy Perry round 458 (probably)! The ‘Shake It Off’ singer suspects that her nemesis Katy Perry is the mastermind behind Miley Cyrus’ recent criticisms of her.

An unnamed insider told HollywoodLife on Saturday (August 15th) that Swift believes Perry has somehow incited Miley to attack her. Cyrus has recently spoken of her distaste for Tay’s ‘Bad Blood’ music video, criticising it for being “violent”, and has recently hinted that she and her current boyfriend Calvin Harris will be the prime targets of her upcoming MTV VMAs performance on August 30th.

Miley Cyrus has opened up about the effect that playing ‘Hannah Montana’ had on her as a teenager – and it wasn’t positive. She claims that playing the pop princess for five years left her with deeply ingrained anxiety issues about her body and her image.

The 22 year old spoke to Marie Claire about how comfortable she felt in her own skin, and she explained that the pressure of constantly acting as somebody else – both in ‘Hannah Montana’ and in the public eye away from the set – had a hugely negative impact upon her life during her formative teenage years, and left her with “body dysmorphia” as she struggled with her identity.

Miley Cyrus auctioned off some of her artwork for charity on Tuesday (16th June). The 22-year-old singer and philanthropist auctioned artwork based on Caitlyn Jenner’s recent Vanity Fair cover. The three framed pictures featured Jenner’s cover picture with Cyrus’ own embellishments and added details which included additional colour, glitter and altered backdrops. Cyrus had previously shared her re-imagined covers with fans on Instagram and further revealed her finished work with pictures from the auction.

Miley Cyrus delivered a powerful speech at the amfAR Inspiration Gala on Tuesday evening, where she was honoured for her work in the fight against AIDS. The singer wore a floor length red gown at the event, held in New York City, which was embellished with heart prints and featured an oversized bow at the back.

Singer Miley Cyrus has been putting her fame to very good use as of late, becoming something of a spokesperson for gender and sexuality issues. Last month Cyrus launched non-profit organisation the Happy Hippie Foundation, which helps homeless LGBT youth. Now the singer is sharing her #InstaPride campaign, which aims to spread positive images of gender-nonconforming people and their supportive families.

Miley Cyrus has discussed her passion for LGBT rights in a recent interview. She has founded the Happy Hippie Foundation to provide support for young LGBT people. The Foundation, which will provide digital support services for LGBT youths and their families, aims to 'rally young people to fight injustice facing homeless youth, LGBT youth and other vulnerable populations.' There is a link between homelessness and LGBT rights as, in the US, around 40% of the 1.6 million young people living on the street identify as LGBT.

The Happy Hippie Foundation aims to raise funds and increase awareness about youth homelessness as well as creating digital support groups for LGBT youths and their families.

Since 1992, EJAF (Elton John AIDS Foundation) has raised over 321 million USD to help combat AIDS/HIV. One of the biggest events on EJAF's calendar is that of the Academy Awards Ceremony - for the last 23 years, Sir Elton John has hosted a special Academy Awards viewing party, in which celebrities from all areas of the entertainment industry come together to watch the Oscars, whilst raising money for the foundation. This year was no exception.

Of course, as with any Oscar party, members of the Hollywood elite were in attendance, like Alec and Hilaria Baldwin. Fashion lovers and Hollywood fans were desperately checking in to the Sunset Tower Hotel to watch The Daily Front Row's Fashion Los Angeles Awards on 22nd January 2015. For those of you that have never heard of the Fashion Los Angeles Awards, don't worry; you aren't at fault as Thursday night's award show was the first of what is hoped to be annual event. An event which, apparently, honours the finest contributions to the style of Hollywood from the world of fashion.

For the inaugural event, a host of celebrities flocked to the Sunset Tower to present awards, or just watch the action unfold before them. Drew Barrymore and Ciara were called upon to present some of the prestigious awards, with stars like Rihanna, Katy Perry and Kanye West taking up the front row of seats for the show. Miley Cyrus also presented an award. Whilst wearing an oversized t-shirt emblazoned with the statement "I had nothing to wear so I put on this Moschino dress", Cyrus presented the awards for 'Womenswear Designer of the Year' to Jeremy Scott.

The young powerhouses of pop came out on top with two and four nods, respectively. But they had to wait a while to celebrate this year. Instead of the typical primetime concert, the Grammys turned Nomination Day into an actual day-long event this year.

Looks like Miley's got a new gig- she's turned her hand to jewellery design, debuting some pieces at New York Fashion Week. Her designs were modelled alongside clothes by her friend designer Jeremy Scott as his show on Wednesday (August 10th).

The bright designs looked a little like something you might have sported back in childhood, but teamed with Scott's wild but fun clothing, it made for a bright and bold collection that's perfect for summer. Next summer, that is.

Millions watched on Sunday as Helt collected the award for 'video of the year' for Miley's Wrecking Ball, with the former Disney star wanting to raise awareness about homelessness among young people.

Miley Cyrus has honoured the memory of her late dog Floyd along with two of her friends by adding a tattoo to her already impressive collection. The 21-year-old showcased her latest ink on Instagram where two of her friends, Katy Weaver and Wayne Coyne, also showed they had the same one.

Miley Cyrus’ extended Bangerz tour will make several stops in Australia later this year. Promoters The Dainty Group announced that Cyrus will be playing five dates down under in October. According to Billboard, the Australian leg will start in Melbourne on October 10, then move through Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide and finish on October 23 in Perth.

In one of the oddest collaborations since Nelly gave country artist Tim Mcgraw a call and asked to bring his Louisiana drawl to the R&B track “Over And Over”, Snoop Dogg has teamed up with South Korean viral success Psy to unleash the track “Hangover” upon the world. It’s not the first time the G-funk master has produced a piece of work with an artist from disparate corners of the music world. He has previously teamed up with Miley Cyrus for the track “Ashtrays and Heartbreaks” during the rapper’s ill-conceived stint as adopting the Rastafarian lifestyle under the moniker of Snoop Lion.

Snoop Dogg and Psy's collaboration has been widely attacked by both of their respective fans.

Debuting in the US on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the video attained over 3.5 million views in 24 hours and currently boasts viewing figures of almost 25 million. But such figures are small fry for K-pop megastar Psy, who has become the first artist to break the 2 billion mark on Youtube. The video itself depicts Snoop and Psy trying various purported South Korean cures for the after effects of excessive inebriation, as well as their clips from their hedonistic exploits from the day before. As for the music itself, it contains all the tropes of Psy’s previous opus- blaring synthesizers and a skewed chorus hook designed to burrow into your brain and resolutely refuse to leave.

Being caught with a joint is really nothing new in the world of pop, especially amongst those aggressively seeking a change of image that will subsequently add a semblance of ‘edge’ to their persona. For child stars especially, in attempts to free themselves from their enforced clean-cut youth and iconic childhood roles, to indulge in the smoking of marijuana is the go-to method of both distancing oneself from the past and declaring oneself as a fully independent adult.

The group have come under fire from the tabloids for Zayn and Louis' actions.

The celebrity world abounds with examples of such exploits. Remember the media storm over Justin Bieber’s incident with a “suspicious cigarette” or Miley Cyrus’ bong exploits, which have now evolved into her free and consistent utilization of marijuana symbolism? The celebrity media loves a scandal more than a Republican loves his right to bear firearms, but whilst the current One Direction drug ‘scandal’ has rather predictably been plastered all over the tabloid’s front pages, the majority of the public greets it with a collective shrug of the shoulders. They are, after all, adolescents- the prime age for indulging in experimentation with illicit substances and activities. TMZ reports, police are currently investigation a burglary in the Southern California home of the 21 year-old on Friday (May 30th).

A source told the gossip site that Cyrus' assistant phoned the local authorities around midnight on Saturday (May 31st) after she "noticed things were not in the right place."
