GQ's least influential celebrities of 2013 list has just been released and there might be a few surprises as well as some obvious names that are highly featured.

Barack Obama

One of more surprising entries comes in at No.17, it is the President of the United States, Barack Obama. According to the magazine, the "majority of this man's presidency watching bad things happen, then hearing a thoughtful speech about how we gotta make sure the bad things never happen again, and then watching as nothing gets done."

The mag's publisher isn't a supporter of 'Obamacare' then! A more obvious choice, in which the majority of people were expecting to feature on the list, is Miley Cyrus. The 21 year-old lands at No.6 and there could be a separate list for reasons why she earned this spot.

The 'Bangerz' hit maker has spent much of 2013 making headlines for all the wrong reasons, from twerking on Robin Thicke's crotch during her infamous performance at the 2013 MTV VMAs to smoking marijuana live on stage at the 2013 MTV EMAs in Amsterdam.

Cyrus also caused a lot of chatter for her sexually charged music video 'Wrecking Ball', which sees the young singer straddle an actual wrecking ball completely naked and also features her licking a sledge hammer while grinding on the hardware tool.

GQ thought Miley earned to be on the list because she is "trying every inane strategy she could think of to rile up America's few remaining pearl clutchers."

The No.1 least influential celebrity of 2013 is former NBA player and reality star Dennis Rodman. The 6 ft 8' flamboyant character was mainly chosen due to a trip he took earlier in the year when Rodman visited Kim Jong Un in North Korea.

GQ claimed that the 52 year-old was their No.1 choice because he "is a Q-list celebrity willing to commit borderline treason just to hang out with a dictator who himself aspires to be a Q-list celebrity."
