Fact: Eclectic R&B star Janelle Monae is set to perform a private concert for bosses at America's National Football League (Nfl) in the run up to the Super Bowl championship game, which will take place in New Jersey on 2 February (14). The singer was hired as the main performer at the Nfl Owners Party for a reported $150,000 (£100,000) after rapper Eminem allegedly tried to charge $2 million (£1.3 million) for the gig. Editors at Tmz.com claim Kanye West was also ruled out by his $1 million (£670,000) fee.
