Having literally gone from rags to riches, Alvin, Simon and Theodore didn't think their lives could get any better - and they certainly didn't think it could all go downhill. Their best friend and father figure Dave has met a woman, and while the chipmunks are happy to have a new face in their lives, they're super worried it could mean the end for them. Dave is going to Miami to propose and is planning on leaving his furry friends at home in Los Angeles. But after a serious misunderstanding, the guys believe that they are going to be abandoned forever. And so, they set out follow Dave to the sunny city to stop the proposal and save their friendship with Dave - while gaining yet more fans with their spontaneous musical exhibitions along the way.

Alvin, Simon and Theodore are preparing to embark on more mischievous adventures; venturing out on a road trip to New York, throwing star-studded parties and doing what they love best - singing! But meanwhile, they have some serious business to attend to. They are convinced that their friend Dave is planning on proposing to his girlfriend, before leaving the chipmunks to fend for themselves. It's all a huge misunderstanding, of course, but these musical rodents have a good reason to believe they might lose their buddy; it's not as if they make life easy for him. Thus, the chipmunks - led by Alvin - set out to travel cross country to meet Dave in New York and convince him not to propose. Not only are they worried about being left alone, but they're also not loving the idea of their potential new stepbrother.

Pixie Hollow fairy friends Tinker Bell, Vidia, Iridessa, Fawn, Silvermist and Rosetta are all blessed with a unique talent to manipulate certain areas of nature. During an ice show, they discover that estranged fairy Zarina is responsible for the poppy decorations which send all the guests to sleep allowing her to steal the Blue Pixie Dust for her pirate friends at Skull Rock. Tink and the others must get the Dust back as soon as possible as it is essential in their ability to fly, but when they manage to anger Zarina by approaching her, they find that all their talents have been swapped between them. Struggling to control their new found powers, they must continue their quest to retrieve the Pixie Dust for when the rest of Pixie Hollow awaken - but that all proves to be easier said than done as time is quickly running out.

Six American tourists hire extreme tourist and practical joker Uri to drive them to the town of Pripyat; the hometown of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor workers who abandoned the place after the explosion over 25 years ago. After exploring the factory where the disaster took place and taking pictures of various town buildings, they prepare to vacate the area only to find that the car has broken down. Uri's geiger counter starts to display unusual results and the group begin to hear human voices in the distance. They decide to investigate the source of the noise and soon begin to realise that they are being followed by Chernobyl mutants.

Tinker Bell just can't help herself when it comes to exploring. Whilst on the mainland Tink's tricks land her in more trouble than usual when she is discovered by a little girl. Vidia and the other fairies lead a brave rescue mission to save Tink and take her back to safety. As Tink's bond grows stronger with the little girl the strong fairy decides she's going to risk everything and help the little girl reconnect with her father who's often very distant.
