Three months sure can fly, but that's how long its been since Sweet Home Alabama actor Josh Lucas confirmed that not only was he married, but expecting his first child with wife Jessica Lucas. And now the pair has finally welcomed their baby boy, Noah Rev Maurer, into the world as of Friday, US Weekly reports.
Lucas, who currently stars on the NBC drama The Firm, confirmed his engagement to freelance writer Jessica in January this year on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. The two went on to tie the knot on March 15th, announcing Jessica's pregnancy shortly after. The couple first met in the most unlikely of situations, in Big Sur, California during an eco retreat', where they both supposedly survived an encounter with a mountain lion together. The rest, as they say, is history.
Speaking to Leno earlier in the year, Lucas said that the chance encounter began when he and Jessica stumbled into the lion's den up in the mountains, when Lucas repeated what he had previously read in case he should be faced with this situation. He told Leno: "I started screaming and yelling and literally being as crazy as I could be, it padded off and just slowly went away and I worked my way into the trailer and I got in and I decided at that moment that this woman was the woman for me."
