The Sweet Home Alabama star was a guest at the High Line Art Dinner at a venue in Manhattan, New York on Wednesday (16Sep15) but he walked the red carpet at a nearby bash for real estate company Town Residential instead.

It was only after half-an-hour at the wrong event that Lucas realised his mistake and headed to the correct venue.

However, he was able to laugh off the blunder, telling New York Post gossip column Page Six, "At least I got a drink out of it. I'm going to tell people this story all night!"
