Josh Lucas has moved back in with ex-wife Jessica Ciencin Henriquez.
The 44-year-old actor and the 30-year-old beauty's divorce was finalised last October, but they recently decided to start sharing a home again so they can raise their three-year-old son, Noah Rev Maurer, together.
A source close to the former couple said: ''Josh and Jessica are living together now, in New York City with Noah, their son. They moved in because she starts grad school at Columbia University in September and Josh's show has him working insane hours.
''They recently moved in together so that they could both be with Noah as much as possible despite their schedules, with work and Columbia requiring so much time away.''
The 'Sweet Home Alabama' star, who is currently starring in the TV series 'Mysteries of Laura' alongside Debra Messing, and Jessica split in January 2014 after two years of marriage, but have remained close friends and were spotted enjoying a family holiday in Bali together in May.
The insider told PEOPLE.com: ''There's no guidebook to this but they love each other and are madly in love with Noah, so they are trying to make it work out in any unconventional way they can.''
The duo also celebrated their split being finalised by having dinner together and then ''vacationing in Turks and Caicos'' late last year.
But Josh later admitted he wouldn't wish divorce on his ''worst enemy,'' saying: ''We have been through a divorce and divorce isn't something I would wish on my worst enemy. Even when in our case we have managed to do it not only amicably but as -- hopefully in the end -- great friends, particularly because we have a young child that we both truly love.''
