Kerry Katona has vowed to help Katie Price to "turn her life around".
The 43-year-old star became really close to Katie, 45, in the run-up to Christmas, and she's determined to help the former glamour model following her split from Carl Woods.
A source told Closer magazine: "In the past, when she's been single, Katie has been known to go a bit wild as a bit of a coping mechanism, so pals are hoping she won't be heading into trouble again.
"Kerry has really been encouraging Katie to slow down a bit and look after herself."
Katie is happy to trust her showbiz pal and Kerry is determined to provide support for her friend.
The insider explained: "Katie leans quite heavily on Kerry for support and guidance, and Kerry wants to help Katie continue to turn her life around this year.
"Katie had some low moments in 2023 and it's heartbreaking that she doesn't seem able to move on."
Kerry is actually happy to be blunt with Katie about her recent struggles.
The source added: "Kerry doesn't take any rubbish. She will always be blunt, honest and candid with advice and feedback. Katie needs that at times."
Last year, meanwhile, Katie admitted that she "might have body dysmorphia".
The TV star - who has gone under the knife numerous times over the years - told the Guardian newspaper: "I might have body dysmorphia. My mum thinks there’s a pattern. If something happens in my life, I go for surgery.
"I’m good with anaesthetic - I’m never sick and I like being put to sleep. It’s such a nice feeling, and you wake up with something new."
