X Factor mogul Simon Cowell has reportedly been rushed to hospital after an accident at his London home. The ITV1 show maker was stretchered out of his capital city mansion at 8am on Friday (27 Oct) in a neck brace after an ambulance was called.

Rita Ora is fed up with female ‘X Factor’ wannabes flirting with Simon Cowell and is warning them that he is “off the market”.

Ora, who joined ‘The X Factor’ judging panel earlier this year, has spent the last week wading through the official auditions for the new series of the reality show that have been going on around the country. She hasn’t liked what she’s seen from some of the female contestants, however…

“I understand the power, it’s Simon with his T-shirt and jeans and all that, I get it. But there’s a limit you have to have, a bit of decorum you need to hold,” the 24 year old admitted.

Congratulations to the two pairs of new parents, who welcomed little ones over the weekend in Hollywood. Emily Blunt and John Krasinski and Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman have all come out of the weekend with a brand new, healthy baby, and both kids can share in the misfortune of celebrating a birthday around Valentine’s Day.

Silverman was discharged from Lenox Hill in New York on Sunday.

Eric, Cowell’s two day old baby boy was born on the exact date, with his parents announcing the news on Saturday and posting the very first pictures of their new son as early as Sunday. Cowell first shared a message letting his followers know that everything had gone smoothly: “Very happy to say Eric was born at 17.45pm. Healthy and handsome.” Then, two days later, the first baby photos – in black and white, of the baby sound asleep – were posted. Early on Monday, Cowell gave another status update, writing: “The last three days have been incredible. Eric Lauren sqiddly and diddly all happy.”

Simon Cowell might tone down his severe TV persona, now that he’s officially a dad. After a bumpy start to the pregnancy, he and Lauren Silverman welcomed a baby boy on Friday. The music mogul and his girlfriend announced the happy news on Friday, via People. Of course, such a momentous occasion couldn’t pass by unmarked on Twitter, so Cowell also released a message about his new son on the social network. Silverman and Cowell revealed the pregnancy last summer, amonst accusations that the socialite had cheated on her then-husband. The controversy soon died down, however, and the new couple was frequently photographed together, along with Lauren's growing baby bump.

Cowell and Silverman became frequent targets for the paparazzi during her pregnancy.

”Very happy to say that Eric was born at [5:45 p.m.]. Healthy and handsome. Lauren [is] in great shape, thanks for all your kind messages,” tweeted Cowell, who also divulged that they named baby Eric after his father.

Simon Cowell revealed in a recent interview with Esquire UK that he will be a supportive and financially dependable father when his first child is born, however when he dies, he doesn't plan on handing his wealth to his unborn son. Instead the music mogul has said that he wants to leave his money to a charity, and ensure that his child works for a living.

The X Factor judge went on to admit that he feels as though his paternal instincts are beginning to kick in, however this doesn't mean that he will be handing over his possessions to his offspring. In the interview, which will be published in the October edition of Esquire UK, Cowell doesn't make many references to his own impending dip into fatherhood, indicating that the interview may have taken place before the news of his affair and eventual pregnancy with Silverman was made public. If this is so, Cowell's ideals may have changed a little, but it is likely that TV's 'Mr Nasty' will still be as stern as ever in his personal ethos.

Cowell - the music industry mogul and TV's angry-faced talent judge - has apparently has avoided the embarrassment of having to air details of his affair with New York socialite Lauren Silverman in a court as part of her divorce trial from property developer, Andrew Silverman. Cowell was named as a co-respondent on legal papers filed by Andrew, meaning he could have been called to court to divulge not only details of the affair, but also his personal wealth; rumoured to be in the hundreds of millions.

Lauren Silverman, the mother of Simon Cowell's child, has reached a divorce settlement with her husband Andrew Silverman. The cuckolded husband of Lauren Silverman filed for divorce after the news broke that she was carrying Cowell's child. Reports from last month suggest Lauren was 10 weeks pregnant, so she will be now be approaching her thirteenth week.

The Silverman's separation appearances to be amicable, which is not surprising as sources suggest their relationship has been on the rocks for over a year. According to sources speaking to US Weekly, "Lauren and Andrew have been unhappy in their marriage for some time, and their divorce has been in the works for a while. As their marriage deteriorated, she and Simon became close."

It's all getting a bit confusing: rumours are now bouncing about that Cowell ended his engagement with his fiancée in April 2012 because he was seeing Lauren Silverman. Cowell split unexpectedly from make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy unexpectedly last year. She chose not to dish out any dirt on him at the time but new images of Cowell and Lauren last year on TMZ suggest that the pair were a little too close in August 2012 having been spotted what looks like kissing on a yacht, despite both having significant others.
