It's been a tough time for Leann Rimes recently; she's been accused of inadvertently poisoning a child with a laxative, and attending rehab sessions. So a performance on one of the most-watched talent shows around was the perfect idea to relieve the stress. Oh, no.
Considering how strange she was on stage, fans have been suggesting that her rehab stint was less than successful, and that she was in fact drunk during the performance. This, however, is something Larry Stein - Rimes' lawyer - denies vehemently. "LeAnn was not performing the way she would normally perform, because she was on stage with a young girl," Larry Stein told celeb gossip site, TMZ. "There have been a lot of untrue things said by others and it feeds into this sort of thing."
On Tuesday, LeAnn told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show her decision enter rehab came when she decided to make a change on her 30th birthday. "God, the last four years have been super compressed with anxiety," she said. "I didn't know how to deal with it all."
Rimes also went onto elaborate to Leno about her increasing conflict with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Brandi Glanville, Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife."I should feel flattered that I'm that interesting, that I can be such an amazing storyline on a reality show," she joked.
