Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder are ''over the moon'' to be married.

The 'Twilight Saga' actress and the 'Vampire Diaries' actor, who exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in Malibu on April 26, have jetted to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil after spending their first few days as newlyweds in Tulum, Mexico.

A source said: ''They are over the moon to finally be married.''

The duo, who have planned ''an extravagant trip around the world'' for their honeymoon, were spotted looking very much in love while enjoying a romantic dinner at Pomar Oraganico in Brazil on Sunday night (03.05.15).

A source told PEOPLE magazine: ''They were kissing nonstop! They looked very happy.''

The 26-year-old actress and her beau jetted to Brazil as Ian has some promotional activities there, but also went on a double date with the 36-year-old actor's co-stars Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin over the weekend.

Prior to that, the couple went on ''several adventurous outings'' in Mexico, where they stayed in an oceanfront suite at the boutique hotel Ana y Jose.

An insider said: ''They enjoyed the beach and the ocean. They also went on several adventurous outings near their hotel. They seemed to have a great honeymoon.''
