The actor is hoping for an "intimate" story.
Ray Fisher's portrayal of Cyborg is likely to be picked apart by the end of the week, when 'Justice League' finally makes its big screen debut and becomes the next piece to enter the DC Extended Universe puzzle. Though it's right on the horizon, that hasn't stopped Fisher from looking to the future and the planned solo 'Cyborg' movie, currently set for release in 2020.
Ray Fisher stars as Cyborg in the new 'Justice League' movie and will return for a solo flick
As one of the three members of the Justice League who haven't yet had their proper introduction - alongside Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) - Cyborg will be joining those two and Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Superman (Henry Cavill) as the team put aside their differences and go to battle against the villainous Steppenwolf. Banking on his survival and that of his planned solo adventure, Fisher has some ideas about how to move forward with his character.

A little later this month, DC fans will finally be able to see the first shot of action from Ray Fisher's live-action adaptation of Victor 'Vic' Stone, aka Cyborg on the big screen in 'Justice League'. Joined by Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill), Fisher is going to have to work extremely hard to ensure his character stands out from the crowd, but we're sure he's the right man for the job.

Following this month's addition to the DC Extended Universe, we're sure Cyborg will be popping up in another DCEU flick before his solo outing in 2020, but Fisher is keeping tight-lipped about exactly where that next appearance may be.

The actor explained how the hero's story aims to give representation to those with physical disabilities.
When it comes to the world of superheroes, one community that you don't regularly see represented is those living with physical disabilities. Almost losing his life, but saved by his father who turns him into half-man, half-machine, this is a character that will open a lot of doors if screenwriter Chris Terrio and former director Zack Snyder have their way.

The planet is in turmoil. Superman is apparently dead and crime rates have surged around the world as a result. But there's more than just petty theft and random assaults out there; mankind are under threat from an alien general named Steppenwolf who, with his terrible army of Parademons, are causing devastation as they search far and wide for three mysterious Mother Boxes hidden on Earth. The people need help, and so Bruce Wayne brings back Gotham's hero - Batman - and enlists the assistance of Wonder Woman to form a new legion of heroes. They, along with Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash, must protect the world from total destruction at the hands of Steppenwolf and, ultimately, his boss Darkseid. They're all very different heroes, with very different ideas about fighting villains, but there's one thing they all have in common - a desire for justice.

'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' is coming next year
Zack Snyder is returning with the sequel to 2013's Superman adventure 'Man Of Steel', and it's our first taste of The Justice League as they hit theaters for the first time.
