Is there any actor who has died on screen more times than Sean Bean? Probably not. The ‘Game of Thrones’ star has met an untimely end in so many films that not even he can remember which ones he survived.

“I have died quite a few times, to be fair,” Bean said in a new interview with Radio Times. “I’ve seen that reel of clips - it sounds a bit macabre, but I watched that back, and I’d forgotten some of the scenes I’d died in.”

"For some reason, the parts I play, like Boromir or Ned Stark, have a life online long afterwards. I keep seeing, what do you call them – memes? 'One does not simply ask for a drink' instead of 'One does not simply walk into Mordor' – that sort of thing," he added. "They'll probably be my unintended legacy.”

Bean is so famous for his on screen deaths that there’s even a tribute website called dontkillseanbean.com. The current estimate of Bean screen deaths is 20. But according to nerdiest.com the only actors to have died more times that Bean on screen are John Hurt, Bela Lugosi and Vincent Price.

The actor also spoke about his political allegiances, saying that he is “still old Labour at heart”. Speaking about new party leader Jeremy Corbyn, Bean added: “I think he speaks a lot of sense. I don’t mean I want to go back to the 80s, the strikes and stuff like that, but he’s sticking up for the working-class man and it’s time we heard that voice again.”
