Wayne Bridge and Frankie Sandford are parents to little Parker.
Frankie Sandford and footballer fiance Wayne Bridge have confirmed the arrival of their first child, a son named Parker Bridge. Frankie announced the news on Twitter today, telling followers, "Wayne and I are so proud to say our little boy Parker Bridge was born this morning," Frankie tweeted to confirm the news. "7bs 13oz. All doing well and absolutely besotted."
Parker Bridge. Now there's a man. He'll play in midfield for Fulham, obviously. It got us thinking, where does it rank on the all-time list of footballer's names for their children? There's some pretty awful ones - usually the work of Wayne Rooney - and we think young Parker Bridge might be one of the better choices.
Everyone's least favourite footballer Joey Barton named his son Cassius, after his boxing hero Muhammad Ali's original name. Ryan Giggs called his daughter Liberty, while Gareth Bale - who appears to have a severe lack of taste in anything but how to get a ball into a net - called his daughter Alba Violet Bale. AVB.

Frankie Sandford is desperate for a drink now that she's pregnant.
'Oh my goodness absolute baby bliss! Alaia-mai is gorgeous! Seeing them all together was so lovely. New little family. Come on baby Bridge!', The Saturdays singer gushed on Twitter after visiting Marvin Humes and Rochelle Humes following the birth of their first child. Frankie is clearly enjoying the thought of upcoming motherhood alongside her fiancé Wayne Bridge, also posting a photo of some tiny Vans trainers on the social networking site with the caption, 'So tempted! Need these little ones in my life!! Too cute.' However, she admits that she is struggling with some of her cravings telling Heatworld at 'The Hangover Part III' premiere: 'I was never really a big drinker before I got pregnant. But now that I'm not allowed, I really want one!' She also confessed to having a yearning for strawberries, which can't be all bad.

Wayne Bridge used the old dogs in tuxedo trick to persuade Frankie Sandford to marry him.
Frankie Sandford has finally revealed the details of Wayne Bridge's apparently romantic proposal last week, and it ain't pretty. Well, it probably comes across as quite cute to the bulk of you, but really, it's horrendous. Hell, it involves dogs in bride and groom's outfits.
She told Lisa Snowden and Dave Berry on Capital's Breakfast Show, "Wayne took me to a hotel and he got my dogs involved. I didn't know my dogs were there and they came in in little bride and groom outfits. And Pixie had the ring around her neck on a ribbon." To be fair to Sanford, she admitted that the proposal might sound a little strange to anyone who isn't obsessed with dogs. "I think for people who aren't dog fans it's a bit of a weird proposal so I feel like I only want to tell people who like dogs," she added.
Just weeks before the proposal, the Saturdays singer had assured the press that Wayne had no plans to propose and even began to have doubts about her relationship when he began acting strange. "He'd been acting so weird that when he left to come back in and do the whole proposal thing in my head I was thinking, 'Oh no we've become one of those couples that can't make conversation at dinner.I was panicking! But it was because he was pooing himself all night. And then my family came in and surprised us."

Frankie Sandford has accepted Wayne Bridge's proposal, despite assuring the press that they would not be getting engaged anytime soon.
Frankie Sandford and Wayne Bridge don't need to worry about the press reporting on their on-off relationship anymore, because they're getting married. The Saturdays singer excitedly revealed the news on her Twitter page, posting a picture of the former Manchester City footballer kissing her on the cheek as she flashed a pretty huge diamond engagement ring on her wedding finger.
Sanford, 24, uploaded the image to Instragram with the caption, "Guess what?!!!" - thousands of fans gave their blessing. The couple have been dating on-and-off since December 2010 and just last month had to slam rumors of an impending engagement. Frankie told OK! Magazine at the time, "He's definitely not going to do it. Everyone else is thinking about it more than I am." Well, he has Frankie, so you're going to just have to deal with being married to a multi-millionaire footballer. It's not clear when or where Wayne proposed, though Sanford and her band-mates attended the Grand National meeting at Aintree racecourse on Thursday, where they opened the three-day meeting with a special live performance.
Bridge is currently on loan at Brighton and Hove Albion from Manchester City, though the left-back could be heading to the south coast permanently if his side win promotion to the Premiership this season. Gus Poyet's team currently sit in the final playoff position.
